What does an IP tell you?
Every public IP address belongs to a network identified by its ASN (Autonomous System Number). This tool shows you the operator of that network (the holder), the prefix the IP belongs to, and whether it is actively announced on the internet. The data comes from RIPE NCC, the regional internet registry.

Does this reveal who I am?
No. It shows your provider and approximate region, data that is already public to any server you connect to. It does not reveal your identity or your address.
